Research Centre for Inclusion of People with Intellectual Disabilities

The endowed research centre ‘Including people with intellectual disability’ was founded in June 2014 with prof. dr Xavier Moonen as endowed professor. This endowed research centre focuses on the role of the professional in relation to the inclusion of people with an intellectual disability.

The endowed research centre was set up by Koraal Groep, an organization based in the Dutch city of Sittard that provides care and support to people with an intellectual, physical, or psychosocial disability or condition. In terms of its organization and content, this endowed research centre is part of the research centre for arts therapies (KenVaK).
